What is atomic design?
In our templates, all the graphic elements are built from elementary components.
These elements, which we’ll call Atoms, are combined to form components and groups of components of increasing complexity, leading to templates.
By systematically starting from these fundamental elements with their own unique characteristics, we ensure visual harmony on all devices, while improving our work process. The opposite approach, which would mean creating each new page from scratch, could lead to a lack of consistency in the design
Atomic design was theorized by Brad Frost in 2015. He sought to improve the creation of interfaces and how to implement Design System in a more methodical way: Atomic design
In our Design System, these Atoms should not be considered as real components, but rather as the attributes or properties that will give the components their final appearance:
A component is made of atoms, the parameters of the properties of the latter give it its "style" (its color, its shape, its size etc.)
